Networking means interacting with other people to exchange information and develop contacts, especially to further one’s career. The key to having a successful network is to start now! Anyone can be in your network—friends, neighbors, family, teachers, employers. Build your network to make sure you have resources for job postings, recommendations, references, and advice. Start by building personal relationships with people you meet early on and nurture those relationships (keep in touch over time).
